My name is Nicolas Elias Ganz, I am 23 years old and I am currently studying architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in my hometown Zürich, Switzerland.

Do I want to be an architect? Gosh no! I’m studying it because it is the only study where you learn, what philosophy calls the art of Heuristics: the fast solving of problems with only fragmentary Information. This heuristical approach is taught with a broad education, including everything from physics over art to sociology – it is as it’s called, interdisciplinary.

As Architecture for me is not so much about building houses but about a certain kind of approaching tasks I am applying this approach to what ever question comes my way, be it in actual architecture, interior or industral design, graphics, webdesign, social media consulting or general business consulting.

Is there a unconventional problem to be solved or a conventional problem to be solved unconventionally? Drop me a line I’d be more than happy to engage in a creative thunderstorm with you.
